February 16th my brother tied the knot with my now sister in law Mitzi!! Although I was very homesick for my husband and babies...I wouldn't of missed it! It was an awesome time to get to know our new family and make new friendships!! Congrats Herb and Mitzi!!

November

I can't believe we're almost into December! November flew by! We have settled into fall activities with the kids. Michaela is getting much better with each class for Irish dancing. Michael has taken a liking to basketball and cub scouts!! He earned his very first patch!! Madison and I enjoy the YMCA and all that it has to offer!!



One of out November highlights was the tree lighting at Legacy Village. It has become a tradition of ours! This year turned out to be the biggest turn out! They enjoyed the marching bands followed by the Santa parade. They had plenty to tell Santa!



Thanksgiving eve I got to go out with the girls. I had LOTS of fun!!

i heart fall!

Living in Ohio has it's con's but has it's perks too! It's absolutely beautiful when the leaves start changing. Fall always puts me in the mood for good cooking, good coffee and warm sweater with ugg boots. Last night after dinner the kids and i went on a "fall walk" picked up a million buckeyes to make a OSU necklace! At bedtime read "the bumpy pumpkin" this weekend im look forward to going pumpkin picking!

EVERY THURSDAY!

well every Thursday we make pancakes..any kind of pancakes..sometimes they turn out great sometimes Michael will say "we'll try again next week mom!" well I'm running out of ideas..so the past Thursday we came up with this one. a tailless Cinnamon turtle with turtle sprinkles inside..the kids said they were delicious!

My big date night!!

So my son over heard me talking to a friend how i miss going out on "date nights" with my hubby! when i got off the phone he told me "mommy i'll take you on a date!" i said "well we have to get a sitter for the girls and then im all yours!" well it happend! mom and dad took the girls to mama santa's and Michael and i we're off to our date! he wore a nice shirt with his fav jeans..put dads colonge and deoderant on! We had a awesome dinner at our favorite "Maggiano's" and the best part was when michael told the waitress "can you tell uncle David Michael's here!!" We always feel special when uncle Davids visits us at our table!! (shhh!!! he's kinda a big deal!!) On the way home we visited gma o!
we had a great night!!! he was very sweet with me!! ya gotta luv those mamas boys!!

looking back

I had this big grand plan when my hubby left for the army!! TO STAY BUSY!! I thought the more activities we were involved in the better..I wanted to do things I've been wanting to do..well things changed. I tend to run myself down all the time. Everyday i ran into fighting depression over the situation of my husband being gone..trying to wrap my head around being alone. It's one thing to be alone because you or the other person aren't in love anymore but when your crazy in love with each other, the minutes go by like hours. Besides the marriage and the birth of our beautiful children seeing mike graduate from basic training was exciting, emotional, and a little awkward!! One of the best moments for our family!! He changed a lot and it was a lot to take in, in one day with him. It was a very sad farewell. AIT turned out to be better. we talk every night and have even managed getting frustrated and have fought.. So now i know, yes you still can fight a 1000 miles apart!! crazy!! The end of may i cried for a few days considering taking Michael out of private school..We have issues we need to address and is hoping public schooling will be the answer..hoping!! I will truly miss his school but i will not miss washing navy blue pants and light blue shirts!! He's very excited about wearing jeans and crocs to school!! also i forgot to add, their going to the school i went to when i was little.. it was an excellent school then and still is!!

Like every Ohioan we're always sad to see summer go but this year i want it gone!! I fly out to San Antonio for a week and to finally bring my love home!!

Staying busy

so..its been one week. keeping myself busy! when you have 3 kids there is No down time! the only down time you have is when you decide to not do something on the list. my list is never ending! i always have too much to do with the kids. mike being gone is forcing me to finish my list daily. kinda nice. on m-w-f while Michaela's at school i do my morning walk at beachwood. do my grocery shopping and before you know it I'm picking Michaela up. trying to find a walking partner!! i cant wait, soon it will be spring! I'm shopping for a new double jogging stroller, i think im on my 5th or 6th stroller. I've been sewing lately, i made the cutest burp towels for my friend Nicole. they came out really cute! I'm hoping this process goes quicker and smoother. i can handle being around my family, going out and about but its at night when i don't have a chest to lay my head on , no one to answer my stupid questions or have a "i love you too" reply. the one thing i have learned so far in my 81/2 years of marriage to mike, it does get more comfortable but the closer we get i fall more in love with him. we have really become good friends over the past 2 years. when you first get married you haven't reached your peak of greatness, i believe you develop it over time. i am so thankful God has gave me the Man God wants for me.
